BRIEF BIO


Whether solo or with his band, Tom McCormack has been recognized as a powerhouse performer whose music has been heard on college radio nationwide, on PBS and in the film "David Searching" (starring Anthony Rapp & Camryn Manheim.) With a sound and songwriting style that people have compared with Tori Amos, Tracy Chapman and Peter Gabriel, McCormack has won the hearts & minds of critics and fans alike with both live performance and his three releases on Spotted Dog Records. He is also co-creator and executive producer of GLAMA, the Gay/Lesbian American Music Awards and tours with his one-man presentation about hate and homophobia, "Hate Speech & Love Songs."

The Tom McCormack Band features Tom McCormack on keyboards and vocals, Warren Shaw on drums, Ted Stafford on guitar and Ron Lettofsky on bass.
